Drilling results were not in keeping with the seismic interpretation of the structure, and the drilling results from the well will be thoroughly analysed before drilling more wells. The remaining work programme in block 43 includes two additional wells, of which the next is scheduled to be drilled in the fourth quarter of 2003.
As previously announced in the notice to OSE on 2 May 2003, a well will now be drilled in the western flank of the Tasour field in block 32, where DNO has identified a potential for increased oil reserves. After that, a well will be drilled in a satellite structure at the Sharyoof field in block 53.
