DNO ASA - Yemen Drilling & Testing Update

 

After additional attempts to clean up the well with a new Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP), testing of the Naifa/Kohlan formation in Nabrajah # 10 was abandoned. Further acid stimulation of the Naifa/Kohlan formation with the objective to achieve commercial production will be considered at a later stage. The forward plan is to install 7 " liner and proceed with an open hole test of the Basement interval.

 

 

Testing of the Naifa / Kohlan formation in Nabrajah # 9  with coiled tubing using nitrogen for artificial lifting has been completed. There was not sufficient lifting capacity to produce the formation fluid to surface, but oil was recovered when reversing out the fluid produced in to the well bore. Additional testing of the Naifa / Kohlan formation in Nabrajah # 9  will be considered at a later stage.
