Oslo, 28 October 2014 - DNO ASA, the Norwegian oil and gas operator, announced today the appointment of Jeroen Regtien as Chief Operating Officer based in Dubai, effective 1 January 2015.
Regtien comes to DNO from Royal Dutch Shell Plc, where he has had extensive international exploration and production experience, including in the Middle East. His most recent position was Country Chairman and Managing Director for Shell Egypt. Between 2008-11, Regtien served as Vice President for Hydrocarbon Recovery Technologies, Innovation Research and Development, based in the Netherlands.

During his nearly 30-year career with Shell, Regtien also worked in Oman, Brunei, the United States and Australia. He holds a degree in experimental physics from the Groningen State University.
