Andreas Mellbye (born 1955) 

Chair of the Nomination Committee

Mr. Mellbye served as an officer in the Norwegian Navy before matriculating in and receiving a law degree from 
the University of Oslo in 1983. Following graduation, he joined the legal department of Norsk Hydro, including a one-year secondment to the legal and acquisition department of Conoco in London. He then joined the Oslo-based law firm Wiersholm in 1987 where he became a partner in 1989, specializing in corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions and securities law. Mr. Mellbye was admitted to the Norwegian Supreme Court in 1995. He is currently chairman of the board of directors of Lorentzens Skibs AS. Between 2001 and 2024, Mr. Mellbye served as a board member of Oslo Stock Exchange-listed company Bonheur ASA; since 2024 he has been a member of the Shareholder Committee of that company. He has previously held other board positions including chairman of Martina Hansens Hospital and Pareto Wealth Management. Mr. Mellbye holds no shares in the Company. 

Alexander Farman-Farmaian (born 1965)

Mr. Farman-Farmaian is Vice Chairman, Partner and Portfolio Manager of Edgewood Management LLC, a US based investment advisory firm. In addition, he is actively involved in civic and international affairs. Mr. Farman-Farmaian serves on the board of directors and heads the nomination committee of Wikimedia Endowment, which provides long-term financial stability and oversight to Wikipedia, and is a member of the George W. Bush Presidential Center's Executive Advisory Council. He is a trustee of the Museum of the City of New York where he chairs the nomination committee; and he is also a member of the Princeton University President’s Circle; the Advisory Board of Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service; the Council on Foreign Relations; the World Presidents’ Organization and the Economics Club of New York. He is an owner and board member of Kalinat S.A., a potato chip manufacturing company in Caracas, Venezuela. Mr. Farman-Farmaian received a BA in Economics from Princeton University in 1987. Mr. Farman-Farmaian owns no shares in DNO.

Kåre A. Tjønneland (born 1948) 

Member

Mr. Tjønneland has served on the Company’s Nomination Committee since 2012. Mr. Tjønneland has broad experience from management positions within public petroleum authorities and private petroleum industry, including the Norwegian Offshore Directorate, TOTAL E&P Norge AS, VNG Norge AS and Skagen44. Mr. Tjønneland holds a Master of Law from the University of Oslo. Mr. Tjønneland holds 405,300 shares in the Company.
