Profile, scope and boundaries

As DNO’s business strategy has progressed, we recognized the need for a more strategic approach to addressing the increasing complexity of risks and stakeholder expectations.

In 2010, we took steps to strengthen our global corporate responsibility strategy. An integrated corporate responsibility approach provides DNO with a direct line of sight to the aboveground risks in the areas where we operate. DNO understands that identifying, understanding and mitigating these risks is critical to operating responsibly and ensuring we achieve the company’s business goals.

As a consequence, we have produced our online presentation of results on sustainability issues in accordance with GRI’s G3. In the future, we will seek to put even more emphasis on quantifiable targets and the development of company-wide standards as we strive for continuous process improvement.

Further information is available throughout DNO’s website. As always, we welcome your feedback.
