David Thorpe
David Thorpe joined DNO as General Manager Ras Al Khaimah following the merger with RAK Petroleum PCL in 2012.

Mr. Thorpe was previously in charge of production and offshore projects in RAK Petroleum. He has 30 years of experience in prospect and field evaluation, drilling, production, maintenance and project management.
He has worked in the Middle East for 12 years and is graduated from the University of Newcastle in 1976 with a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and obtained his MSc in Cryogenics from the University of Southampton in 1978.
