Governing bodies
The governing bodies in DNO consist of the General Meeting and the Board of the Directors who are elected by the shareholders.
The highest governing body in the company is the General Meeting typically held annually. The General Meeting elects the Chairman and another two to four members to the Board of Directors, which shall represent all shareholders. The Board appoints members to its various committees; the Remuneration Committee, the Audit Committee and the Nominations Committee.
An important task for the Board is to employ the Chief Executive Officer who is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Company. The Chief Executive Officer leads a corporate management team including the heads of the various disciplines like operations, exploration, finance, communication, human resources and legal.
