DNO has a zero tolerance to unplanned discharges to the environment. But in the process of producing oil, it is impossible to avoid all discharges - such as various chemicals and produced water.
These discharges are subject to an environmental permit, and the use and discharge of these chemicals are reported to the authorities. In any unplanned discharges occur, the management is immediately noticed and the situation is carefully analyzed to prevent future incidents.
